Zirconia felt ZYF, ZYF-A, and Buster A are important in the heat treatment of powder metal-coated parts and pre-sintered preforms. The felt is non-reactive to aggressive super alloys. High porosity achieves off-gassing even on the contact surface, resulting in a more uniform heat treatment.

Decades of collaboration with brazing companies supplying the world’s premier aerospace, automotive, and medical companies have defined ZYF-A as the longest-lasting, most reliable contact material. Sheets are available up to 24” x 24”.
